Physical Activity
OVERVIEW
At HealthyUNCG, we believe movement is essential to overall well-being. Physical activity not only supports better health, but also reduces stress, boosts energy, and improves focus throughout the day. Through programs, classes, and resources designed just for employees, we make it easier to stay active and incorporate wellness into your workday—whether on campus, at home, or on the go.

Fitness Training Opportunity for UNCG Employees
HealthyUNCG and the UNCG Department of Kinesiology invite UNCG employees to participate in an exciting fitness opportunity!
In collaboration with Kinesiology professor Dr. Teah Rawlings and Kinesiology majors enrolled in KIN 379: Instructional Methods of Physical Activity, this program offers employees the chance to work directly with students to enhance their health and fitness goals. Many participants joined last semester and shared how beneficial and motivating the experience was!
Participants will receive:
- An initial interview to discuss health history and fitness goals
- Personalized exercise instruction
- One-on-one fitness training sessions
- Feedback and recommendations from Kinesiology students
Schedule:
Initial participant interviews will take place during the first week of April
Participants may select up to three fitness training sessions from the following options:
- April 14, 16 and 21 from 11 am – 1 pm or 2 pm – 4 pm
If you’re interested in participating, please complete the registration form below. A member of our team will contact you within a week with additional details. Spots are limited, and participants from last semester are welcome to register again!
