Nutrition Counseling

HealthyUNCG offers one on one nutrition consultations with registered dietitian Cari Culp. Cari is available virtually to assist you individually with meeting your nutrition goals. Whether it is weight management, eating for energy, managing your diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol or just need more help learning how to eat healthy, Cari can assess your current intake and help you create practical goals that will help you become a healthier you.

Monthly Webinars

HealthyUNCG is proud to offer monthly online nutrition webinars led by our Registered Dietitian, Christie RD, LLC. These interactive sessions cover a variety of topics to help employees make practical, healthy choices in their daily lives. Participation is free for UNCG employees—100% covered by the State Health Plan. Pre-registration is required to attend each session.

EAT SMART, MOVE MORE, WEIGH LEss

Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less is an online weight management program that uses strategies proven to work for weight loss and maintenance. Each lesson informs, empowers and motivates participants to live mindfully as they make choices about eating and physical activity.

This online evidence-based wellness program was developed and is implemented by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) at NC State University.  This 15-week weight management program informs, empowers, and motivates participants to live mindfully as they make choices about healthy eating and physical activity. New series begin each month except July and December.  The program cost is typically $260; however, it is FREE for active members of the NC State Health Plan (retirees covered by Medicare or Humana are not eligible for the discount).  Eligible members can register HERE and enter the coupon/voucher code – GNC2026
